Perfect blue skies and a trail full of sweet single track set the scene for the Coffs round of the 2014 GNaTPACK MTB series.
Round 2 of the 2014 GNaTPACK series is done and dusted. A beautiful warm day, a cool crowd of people and buffed trail set the scene for some great racing. 75 riders lined up for the start and I'll let the below results tell the story of what unfolded over the 2+ hours of racing.

As always, the numbers do not tell the true story of what happened and there was some very close racing to be had. The battle in the open males came down to a 3 rider sprint into the final section of single track leading to the finish with Kerrod Parker coming out a worthy victor.
Australian U23 champion Holly Harris had a relatively easy ride to take out the open females and it's great to see riders of Holly's calibre returning to the series where they gained their competitive start in the sport.
The Coffs club would like to thank all riders for taking part in the race, especially those who travelled from the outer reaches of the region. Thank you also to Gilly for putting together a fantastic track, Trevor for co-ordination of the event, Helen & Mike for rego duties, Richard & Heidi for precision timing, Chef Mark for an awesome BBQ and everyone else who played a part.
