Riders enjoyed a short sharp session to kick off 2010 at the Toormina Velodrome last Saturday night. A concentrated field enjoyed 6 races ranging from a 2 lap derby to a 20 lap Scratch. Notable mentions on the night to the Grafton club winning just about everything on offer, with most of Coffs young guns including Mr Fabulous Zeno Baston not able to recover from an early morning trip up Dorrigo, and the balance still AWOL after a solid Christmas/New Years. Well, they look pretty solid. 

A worthy mention also to Grant Howard's improving fitness and return to sprint racing with a convincing first round KO of Steve Sloan in the back straight. Experience is a great teacher! We obviously don't do enough of the tough stuff, so expect to see some more thrills and spills over the coming months.

Whilst we don't have a lot of senior bikes left, we still have a shed full of junior bikes available on Saturday nights, so come on down and have a go.

REMEMBER YOU NEED TO RENEW TO RIDE. See you at the track - Saturday racing from 4.30pm, and Tueasday arvo 4.30pm training for juniors, and 530pm for senior riders.
